With selling our house behind us, we decided to take a trip down to Florida to stay at a vacation house of friends in our church. From Indianapolis, getting to Cape Coral (north of Fort Meyers) was going to be an 18+ drive and we were looking forward to the adventure. We stopped in Nashville for lunch and got to see our family! We stopped in Macon, GA for the night and the kids enjoyed hotel living. The next day, (Tuesday), we arrived at our destination. After many hours in the car, we were ready to jump in the pool and get some wiggles out! We ordered pizza and explored our new digs. Needless to say, the kids had a blast swimming in the pool and the hot tub!
On Thursday, we packed up for a day trip and went to Sanibel Island, to a beach there. It was a bit breezy and the water was really cold but we had fun playing in the sand anyway!
On Friday we headed south again, to Key Largo for more Florida adventures...
