Levi is 11 months and other happenings

Our little Levi is 11 months and so much has happened since I last posted. It's been a whirlwind of change for us.
The week of Thanksgiving was so wonderful. We had the Robbins at our house and it was a great time to be together. By the end of that week, the listing on our house had run out and we felt content to stay there. That Friday night, we received word from our realtor that someone was interested. By the end of the weekend, we had accepted their offer and were going forward with the sale. We were so surprised!
We made it through the Christmas season but it was very very busy. Nathan, as usual, worked a lot and we took steps toward buying another house in a different neighborhood that would need to be gutted and redone (which really excites us!). We celebrated Christmas--Levi's first--and in general, loved being home with our family, in Nashville. Nathan has been gifted the whole month of January off, from the church leadership, so we started the year off with a bang, packing and moving our house into storage at the second floor of our friends' garage. We closed on our house on the 18th, and it was very bittersweet. We feel like the next chapter of life in Indy is a new one, with the house that we want to buy being in a different neighborhood that needs more TLC. While we work on the house, we will be living with friends, and right now, are living in the third floor of the Berends' house, which has been a great respite for us and transition for our kids. For the last week or so, we have been in Florida, resting and enjoying the remainder of Nathan's time off. We have had good time to talk and plan and to refocus. It's been amazing!
During that time, Levi has not stopped growing. He has one tooth and one cutting through. That part has been pretty tough, but then, none of our children have done well with teething. He's started pulling up, has mastered the sign for "more" and just today, figure out how to point at the seagulls. He's crawling on all fours and is so precocious, getting into everything! He's such a little man and I love him so. He's so outgoing and loves to smile and engage anyone that talks to him.
I look forward to seeing what this month will bring and to celebrating and thinking back on Levi's first year!
