Happy 5th Hoosier Anniversary to us!

Five years ago, we rolled into town and became midwesterners. We had a 13 month old little guy with us and started a new life here, with Nathan working full time at our church and us on the house hunt. Little did we know that a great friendship would come from living with the Berends for three months, or the great community that we would find after moving into our house in the Fall Creek neighborhood.
We've added two more kiddos to our family and have seen our little Amos grow up. He feels so old to me, yet, he's only six!
We still have our house for sale, and hope to move to a house with a bigger yard, but we don't know if that will happen, or where it will be.
After a tough first few years, we have made some really good friends and feel like we have a sweet community around us. Nathan is super busy at the church, wearing many hats and I am busy too, at home with our team. Life is good and we are very thankful.
We still miss Seattle and our family and friends there, and at times, are still trying to appreciate Indy's beauty. It's here, but in a very different form, and it's not as obvious.
We are looking forward to the next 5 years, seeing what God will do, seeing how our family will change, and our kiddos grow. For now, it's exciting to see what will happen next week, with our house, and this fall with homeschooling. Life is full and again, we are grateful!

Here we are, five years ago...

and here we are now!
