Christmas celebrating, part 3

Scenes from a Meeks/Partain/Robbins Christmas:
We celebrated Christmas together on Monday morning, which was really sweet. Since we got in late the night before, we stayed up late and slept in late!
As you can see, there was a mountain of presents around the tree. We started off, slowly going through our stockings, having fun with each little item. When we moved on to the presents, we each took turns, alerting the giver that we were opening their gift. A few hours later, there were still more to open so we went into high gear, opening with wild abandon and thanking everyone later. By the end of it all, we were happily worn out, with the usual paper strewn all over the floor, loot piled high and happy reflection and thank-yous going around the room.
As usual, it was a chaotic day, but we loved it. We had so much fun watching each other unwrap each gift. And this year, many of us did the bulk of our shopping at the Goodwill Outlet and/or Goodwill, spending very little but finding awesome treasures!

(hmmm...what could this be?!)

Little Ballerina (It's so much fun to have a girl!)

Mayhem, monster trucks and mustaches:

And wow, we are so easily entertained with a bunch of sticky mustaches, apparently!

All in all, it was a great day. Uncle Joel was not there, but in Vermont and we really missed him. Hopefully we'll all be together again next year!
