Last night, we had a babysitter come over so we could go out for a double date! We visited the restaurant where Dan works and it was a real treat. After eating a yummy cheese plate, we each got a different entre and sampled them all.
Today after breakfast we got everyone out of the house and headed to a coffee shop called Foam, where there's a back room with toys and a place for kids to play. Their cool decor gave us lots of photo ops and of course, we took 'em!

After that, we headed to a thrift store and found some good stuff and then had lunch. The kiddos all fell asleep on the way home and for a little while, the house was quiet with napping. After naps, Bethany and I walked over to the other kid-friendly coffee shop and enjoyed a little afternoon cup of warmth. The kids played and we chatted with our good friend, Mark, from Seattle.
Tonight, Nathan has gone to the first parts of the conference, meeting new friends and connecting with old ones. Bethany and I are hanging out, working on our computers while the kids are happily sleeping! It's great fun to be here, and as Amos keeps saying, "I wish we didn't live far away from you!"
