St Louis trip, days 3 & 4.

On Wednesday, Bethany and I took the kids to the zoo, which is free! I would love to have a free zoo here!!
Anyway, it was a bit chilly but we bundled everyone up and had lots of fun! Bethany and warmed ourselves up by pushing the strollers up the hill to see the cats, zebras and other fun animals!

That afternoon, the weather warmed up so we played in the backyard. The kiddos took turns riding bikes; Flannery especially loved the little riding toy!

That night, Bethany and I went to the Chocolate bar and had a yummy cheese plate and amazing chocolate martinis. Mmmm, so good!

And then we went to meet up with Nathan, who was at the conference, where The Welcome Wagon, Liz Janes and Timbre were giving a concert. We enjoyed a night out without the kids, after our busy day, and enjoyed all of the great music!

Thursday morning, we packed up the car, and then headed to one of my favorite places in St Louis, the Benton Park Cafe. We ordered giant pancakes and my favorite, The Ultimate Eggs Benedict. Afterward, we said our goodbyes and drove home.

It was such a wonderful trip, as short as it was. We always love visiting the Robbins and St Louis and are thankful for the time that we got to spend with them.
