We celebrated Christmas with our little family and Nathan's dad on Christmas Eve morning. We first did stockings (everyone got a bottle or mug of some sort!) and some other goodies. Then came time to open presents. At first, Amos was excited to rip the paper off and then play with it as trash (shocking, I know.). But then he started to realize that there were toys under that paper and really got into unwrapping presents for him. We had to explain that we all take turns and for this little energetic boy, it was almost too difficult.
As for it being Flannery's first Christmas, it was great fun watching her take it all in. She loved being part of the action and even enjoyed the wrapping paper. So here are some fun pictures from the morning. We loved being together and had a wonderful time.
