Our midwife in Seattle, Cindie, and her practice, have put together a video about natural birth and homebirth and it is so sweet. Two of our friends and their babies are in the video and it is a sweet reminder of the amazing community that we were part of in Seattle. Amos' birth was going to be Cindie's first homebirth, but the Lord had different plans. Instead, she was with us at the hospital as they prepped me for a csection and then helped to birth Amos and to care for me as I recovered, showing how holistic midwifery care can be and is. After each appointment, Cindie even prayed with us and for our unborn baby. If we had been in Seattle for Flannery's birth, I know we would have gone with the midwifery care at Midwife Seattle. We love Cindie and are so excited for this sweet video to be out and in the world.
