Well it's been a busy time around here. Lots going on, lots to do!
Life with Amos has been its usual--quick, entertaining, intense and full of fun. The binky transition has gone well and we're doing great now! But I'm saving those Amos stories for another post, to come very soon!!

We've had fun at the pool together recently. Sadly, it'll be closed for the rest of the summer since the lifeguards are all going back to school!

Not long after we got home from our TN trip, Aunt Abby came to visit for a few days and we had a blast as usual! We mostly hung out and played, but Amos loved it and Nathan and I even got a date night!

As August came, so did the Jensens, our good friends from Seattle who now live in St. Louis. They came for a quick weekend visit and again, lots of fun was had by all! Rick played on Sunday morning with Nathan (which used to happen all of the time in Seattle) and Amos loved playing with their kids. We also played over at the Dorseys' house (our pastor and family here, who moved from Seattle 7 years ago), where Amos spent all day Sun and Mon in their giant sandbox!

This week has been fun and busy, again. Nathan ended up canceling the usual Thursday night practice so on a whim, we decided to go to the free night at the Children's Museum (since our membership lapsed) and see the dinosaurs. Amos was more freaked out this time but once we were in there, enjoyed seeing the big guys.
Amos did enjoy dressing up like a dinosaur and seeing the dinosaur "eggs" and has wanted to go back ever since!

Soon it was time to go up and see the race car, small bulldozer and water play area. Of course, major fun was had and he didn't want to leave!

And then on Friday, we went out to a local farm. We got to walk around, looking at the tractors, dozer/backhoe and animals. Amos loved it. We even got to feed the cows!
