It was a good day.

Amos and I had a great day.
We woke up late and made pancakes together after a good hour of PBS kids shows. Amos inhaled an egg and three pancakes in about 5 minutes! A few minutes after playing with toys, he sat on the potty and went pee pee and poo poo!! He got a Beatles cd in the mail from Uncle Jesse and then later on, we went to SuperTarget and Amos ate his sandwich lunch while we shopped. We had a good shopping trip and then he got to play in his Clifford sprinkle(r) while I put groceries away. After naps, we snacked and played and then made dinner. He was so excited when his Daddy arrived and helped him make sand castles in his little sandbox. We had a pretty good dinner and then he got a cookie, although, I had to apologize for being short with him for a minute while I was trying to finish dinner--he's always moving faster than I am or can!
While I cleaned up after dinner, he sat on the potty and went numbers 1 and 2 again! He was so excited and everytime he does this, we try to give him lots of praise and "Wow you're such a big boy..." compliments. After potty time, he got to play some more in his sand box (which I brought into the kitchen) while I continued to clean up.
His bedtime snack was half a ham and cheese sandwich, that he ate as he played and ran laps. We finished the day off with "Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?" , teeth brushing and prayers.

We have days like this all of the time. It's after these days that I feel so thankful and grateful to be Amos' mom and to have the opportunity to spend all day with him. Granted, there are trying times, as always, but he's like a little friend, going through the day with me, giving me things to think and talk about.
I'm so blessed to be his mom. And hope for more days like this.
