...well, not really. It just sounded good.
Two Saturdays ago, we traveled up to the yummy sushi restaurant, Sakura. We got there early to avoid the wait and salivated over the menu as we tried to figure out what to order. For our student from India, Himanshu, it was his first time, and Wolfy kindly helped him figure out what to get. For Miharu, it was home away from home and she was so excited to be close to her native food again. The whole event was fun and although it took a long time to get our food, it was delicious! Amos even had a bit of Tamago (egg), eating both of my pieces! He did get pretty restless but overall, did a great job sitting with us at the table for over two hours. We finished the dinner with yummy green tea ice cream for dessert. And, Beth and Jessica will be happy to know that conveyor belt sushi is what they do in Japan--it's totally authentic! Makes me miss Blue C!
We went home with full bellies and a great memory.
