Another snow day!

We woke up this morning to another dusting of snow and to flakes, flurry-ing around outside the window. Amos loves it! I think that (along with everything else) that we're brainwashing him to enjoy this too!
But this morning, it was really cold out, in the teens. So instead of going out into the snow, Amos and I did a painting project, painting snow, using blue paper, white paint and Q-tips. After the dotting (to make snowflakes) got old, Amos started doing donuts (just like his dad in the old days!) and was happy with his big circles. After painting, we moved on to coloring. Amos asked me to draw a Snoopy for him to color and was happy when I produced something that somewhat resembled a Snoopy. I then remembered our Snoopy coloring book and that satisfied him!

For a change of scenery, we headed upstairs to play. Amos "cooked" for awhile and I folded laundry. He quickly moved onto his little keyboard (DOO-do), from GrrMe, and found a dish towel that absolutely had to cover his keyboard. As you can see, he was quite pleased with the results. Snoopy played the keyboard too, for a minute and then it was lunch and nap time!

On the schedule for the rest of the day: continuing to fold laundry and clean our very messy bedroom; a trip to the dealership to drop off our car (and see what sort of snazzy loaner car we get) and pizza for dinner tonight. And hopefully, a new episode of the Office will be on after a certain little person is in bed. Gotta love Thursdays!

well, hate to break it to you but the Office is a re-run. I know, I know I was hoping for a new one also.

And, bring on the snow! Let's go sledding if we ever get more than a dusting!

Amos is getting soooo big! Wow!

I'd love to know the brand name of that keyboard. Christopher was at a piano yesterday and I was surprised to see how well he did (not banging, etc).

Thanks!
