Christmas at the Partain house!

On Christmas Eve, after we sent Jonathan and Keren on their way and picked up Aunt Abby from her hotel, we settled down to open presents. It had been a busy morning for both Nathan and I, so we were happy to stop and hang out a bit. It was so busy, that I had almost forgotten to stuff the stockings! But it all got done, the stockings, the breakfast casserole and cinnamon rolls, and the mirth and merriment! Enjoy the pictures below!

This year's Christmas picture of Amos! (Yes, a bit blurry but it was the best we got at the time!)

Amos and Dada!

Amos unwrapped a stuffed Wall-E and was so happy! He gave it hugs and kisses right away!

And then he started introducing Wall-E to Bob the Builder, and they played together with Amos' new alphabet blocks! Amos also unwrapped a See 'n' Say from Great GrrMama Sheehan and a Thomas video. Both were very exciting! Thanks Great GrrMama Sheehan!!

Miharu gave me a hat and scarf from the Gap. What's funny about this is I took her Christmas shopping and didn't know what to tell her to buy me. We walked into the Gap and I found two things on sale. So I gave them to her and told her to choose one. She got me both! I was so surprised and thankful!

And Amos received a set of cars from the movie Cars. He likes them alot, even though he's only seen the movie once! He's been particularly excited about the tractor and has played with that one the most!

Abby got a cool Vans shoe box with a horse calendar inside!

I made Miharu a new fleece blanket that has two pieces of fleece tied together to keep her nice and warm!

The wreckage! Nathan got me new haircutting scissors and framed my birthday picture of us at our wedding!

We loved eating the traditional (in the Meeks house) Christmas breakfast: Egg and Sausage casserole, complete with cinnamon rolls! Mmmmmm, so good!

We had alot of fun together! Sadly, I didn't get a picture of Nathan's cool new toiletries bag. Maybe later! The Cmas Eve service at church was particularly beautiful and again, sadly, I left my camera at home so no pictures!
