We slept on the living room floor last night as storm after storm came through, bringing intense lightning and thunder. I barely slept, turning on the TV with each storm and then resting in between. I hate storms and was really afraid that we would miss the sirens if we were upstairs. I was ready to run to the basement and stand in the dry parts! People south of us were less fortunate, losing houses and cars. But surprisingly this time, the damage was not so widespread.
More storms are coming today. Amos and I will be napping down here!
