Holding steady

We had a pretty good day yesterday. Amos' nap lasted for almost 4 hours, which was probably due to the fact that he didn't sleep much the night before. I also napped, feeling much better and very surprised that Amos was still asleep. We didn't do much else yesterday but hang out and veg. So last night, I had trouble wanting to go to sleep, as I didn't feel tired or like I had done much all day. So I was still up when Nathan got home from a Manshower/Bachelor party for our friend Kyle, and he was pretty awake too. We hung out for awhile until Amos woke up coughing and ran up to his rescue. Thinking he needed a breathing treatment, we brought up the stuff, only to find it making the coughing worse. Oh well. After about a half hour of Amos coughing, he finally calmed down and was able to go back to sleep. I was getting tired too, and so, after a snack, finally went to sleep around 1:30.
I was bummed. I knew I needed more sleep than that, but it wasn't happening! Thankfully, Amos slept until 8:30 this morning, so we all god really good rest. Amos seems to be feeling better, too. He's still quite stuffy and has a cough, but his cough is productive and less wheezy so that's good. He's also been pretty happy.
This morning has been chock full of more cuddles, an attempted breakfast and a good cup of coffee. I think we'll attempt a walk/run, since it's not raining right now and I need to get out and do something!
