Happy Mother's Day

Well this weekend was wonderful. It started out with breakfast in bed, Saturday morning (since Nathan was off to church this morning at 7:45), and has ended with me on the couch putting my left foot up. I stepped wrong, going down the back steps and fell, twisting my foot and ankle. It was painful and I guess I figured I needed more attention this weekend, so I had to incur an injury. It's feeling better now, having adequately iced and Advilled. Nathan went to Walgreens to get crutches so I can get around tomorrow, in case I can't put my weight down.
Anyway, the weekend was great and I definitely feel so loved and appreciated. Nathan found a treadmill on craig's list for me and I am so excited. I get to walk and run no matter the weather or time. I tried it out while Nathan and Amos napped yesterday and I walked/ran 3.2 miles, meeting and passing my goal of 10 miles a week. I logged 10.4 miles last week and feel so excited to have reached my goal.
Amos was so sweet this weekend. He has a cute little froggy voice, getting over his cold. And his cough is still pretty wet and frequent so he's on the meds, I love being his mom and am so thankful for each day we spend together.
Happy Mother's Day to all you moms, my friends and co-laborers. It's so great to share this journey with you all. We have such an awesome mission in life.
Pictures are soon to come--maybe when things are feeling better!
