Sorry, folks...

...for the lack of updates since yesterday's post! But thanks to Aunt Jesky for bringing that to my attention!
Amos did not turn out to be sick, thank goodness. Although, ten minutes ago, as we were getting up to go upstairs, Amos blurped again. But I think it was more of a tummy-is-too-full blurp, which has happened before. I did squeeze his midsection a bit as I tried to stand up with him on my lap, so I think that didn't help. Oh well, I'm getting used to this, so I know how to clean it up, etc.
Other than that, he's doing fine and we've had a good day. Yesterday was a bit strange, due to the morning throwing up. We took really good naps, though, me feeling refreshed and Amos feeling better, I think. We played out front since it was so nice and met our neighbor who is frequently out there, too, doing a type of dance called Capoeira Angola. His dancing looks alot like break dancing and he's very good. He is very nice so it was good to finally meet him. It was nice to be outside and in the warm air. Later in the afternoon, we loaded up and walked to the church so that we could walk home with Nathan. The walk there and back is 2.8 miles, so it was a great workout. I hope to be walking more with the weather so nice. After dinner we went back out and colored with sidewalk chalk. Amos sort of got the concept, coloring a little bit, but mostly climbing on the steps and watching the cars drive by. Many of our other neighbors were out too, so it was good to talk to them. Last night, Amos was up alot, coughing and then hungry, early this morning. He snacked so much yesterday that he didn't get a great dinner. And since he was up so much, we slept in this morning, waking up at 10! Although, poor Nathan had to get up early and he was the one mostly up with Amos. We'll be heading to bed early tonight!
This morning after we finally had breakfast and got going.
Our major accomplishment for the day was to find our local Post Office. Since we went out of town, I had our mail stopped, but our mailman can't seem to stop being confused about when to deliver the mail again. So I went to the Post Office and got our stack of mail. And thus, accomplished the finding of our local Post Office. We went to the grocery store, where I found brown rice sushi for lunch. It was tasty, freshly made and healthy!
After lunch and nap, Ellis came over this afternoon for study hall. Amos and I both love when Ellis comes over and today was no different. We did homework and then played outside with the chalk, which is Amos' new favorite activity.
Tonight Nathan is practicing music at church so Amos and I have played and bathed. And then the lack of sleep, for Amos, which prompted a snack and then the blurp. Amos is finally asleep. It's been an ok day, seemingly boring now, as I write it out. Hope you all are still awake! Tomorrow Nathan is home (yay for days off!!) and who knows what adventures will unfold!
