Picture pages (and retelling of stories...sorry!)

Saturday
HAIRCUT!! Amos now looks like a real boy, as you can see in the pictures. On Saturday, I got a crazy notion to cut it and now he looks so much older! The toddler mullet was getting out of control and so I thought, as a way to mark his big-boy walking skills, he should look a bit older, too! He did very well, sitting still and amusing himself on the changing table. Nathan came home from music practice and was very surprised!

Amos, before the toddler mullet got chopped off!

After!

Saturday afternoon we found our chairs, that previously sat on our back porch in Seattle. We changed the cushion covers and voila!, added more seating to the living room! Nathan and Amos tried them out while reading together.

Nathan and Amos practice making the goldfish sound!

Saturday evening, our guests arrived. It was so strange and surreal to have everyone together at our house, here in Indy. From Seattle and Malawi, we reunited! We rubbed pregnant bellies and felt kicking feet, ate together and enjoyed company!

Sunday
Beth and Dan showed us how to talk online with the webcamera, using Skype. Dan, Amos and Nathan tried it out and then we got my parents hooked. My mom was so surprised to see us!

Monday

Monday morning, Amos played with Uncle Dan's hat, Aunt Jessica while she stretched, Uncle Dan's laptop and Uncle Brendan's iPhone, most or all things that he won't ever play with again, but will remember! He's a silly one like that! Later, we walked around downtown and saw some of the sights. And during dinner, Amos played really well, letting us eat. He found one of Nathan's guitar store magazines and happily flipped through, looking at all of the cool "manah-manahs!" After a breathing treatment, he was off to bed. He walked a whole bunch and was so worn out by it all that he slept through the night (almost) last night! Woo Hoo!
