All about our six-year-old boy...

Lately, Amos has been taking his status as a six-year-old very seriously. His reading is improving and is able to sit and read simple BOB books to me while I make dinner. Tonight, he got on a big kid swing and swung all by himself!! He pumped his legs back and forth and actually enjoyed it! And he's been gaining and growing in his responsibilities, the newest being emptying the dishwasher and carrying his baby brother (although, that's only happened twice!).
He's really great at math, getting the hang of numbers, addition and subtraction.
Too, his Lego creations are becoming more intricate and complicated and he is learning so much through our homeschool group, Classical Conversations. He is also really growing. I've recently realized that his long sleeved shirts and pants from the past few winters are now too small!
He's becoming such an amazing person and it's been such a joy to be home with him, watching him learn to read and write and be creative and expressive.
