Levi got his IV sure taken out and got to graduate from the NICU to his own room upstairs. He's doing so well, he just needs to get better at eating! They are also watching his billirubin and we are hoping that he doesn't need phototherapy lights for jaundice. Please pray that those levels don't go up.
For me, it was a hard day. My blood pressure slowly went up as the day went on and I got really discouraged. I just want to be healthy already so I can focus on my baby and kiddos. Also, I think it was time for my hormones to shift so I just felt sad, especially tonight. But I got discharged anyway and now, get to be roommates with Levi. Nathan and I are here, sleeping on makeshift beds, staying in the room with Levi so we can get better at eating with him.
Please pray that our feeding efforts are successful. Levi had a great feed tonight, nursing and then taking some from the bottle. We hope to continue! Pray for me, that my blood pressure would go down and that my body would recover quickly. My doctor increased my blood pressure dosage so I'm hoping that will kick in soon.
Time for bed before the next feed...
