Day 3, Levi:

We had another good day. Today, Levi got to have his nose canula and feeding tube taken out. He might need the tube again, but for now, the nurse felt ok taking it out since he's been taking his bottle feedings so well.
He's gained a little bit of weight but not much. He's still a pretty skinny little guy. I got to spend time with him today, nursing and feeding him, which went well. He's a slow nurser, but did well and ate well, I think.
My mom and dad came for a visit and it was great to see Amos and Flannery. We had dinner together here and the kids and I cuddled and watched a movie while Mom and Dad visited Levi. Amos and Flannery still haven't met Levi yet but Nathan made them a little video and immediately, they were enthralled with "Brudder Levi."
I am able to walk a bit more today and will probably be discharged tomorrow. We still don't know how long Levi will be here but hope it's not too long.
We are excited for the day that we can all be together and hope that day comes soon. For now, we are thankful for the little things!
