For Flannery's second birthday, we had a small celebration after dinner, opening a few presents and blowing out a "2" candle. Amos was there to help, of course, and did well with not receiving presents of his own, but helping his sister!
She also unwrapped a stuffed cow, who she immediatly started "moooing" to! She loves cows, oddly enough, so I was happy when I spotted this beauty in the Goodwill Outlet bin to save for her birthday.
Then she figured out that her keys had a flashlight on them. Bonus!!
We skyped with GrrMama and GrrDada, who sent a box of presents for the little lady to open. She loved each one--either clothes or a "Baby Brother" doll! It's so funny how she is such a girl already, but still loves to watch 'Star Wars' with her brother!
It was a small celebration, but I think she enjoyed it and felt special. We love our little Lainey girl and are so thankful for her!!
