Students!

Also this summer, we hosted students! We had Sofi here from Finland for 8 weeks, from the end of June to the end of August. It was really great to have her here, hanging out with us, experiencing American culture and our crazy family life! Amos and Flannery made friends with her and she was very helpful around the house. We really miss her!

On Sofi's last weekend here, we went with her to the zoo! The kiddos enjoyed seeing all of the animals, of course and we had fun sharing it with them!

Also during Sofi's last week here, we had two new students come to stay with us! Mao (on the left, from Japan) and Minsun (on the right, from S Korea) and they went with us to the zoo. They have been so sweet and playful with the kids and we've really enjoyed having them here.
Mao has already moved, to San Diego, where she is enjoying the warm weather! Minsun will be with us for another few weeks!


Hosting students definitely makes for a more full house but we really enjoy having others around us and feel like it's a great way for us to show hospitality to strangers!
