At the very end of April, beginning of May, we headed back down to Nashville to see our family. Both of my sisters were going to be in town, which was a very good reason for us to go!
Beth and the boys headed home first. It was sad to say goodbye! The next morning, we went for a soggy walk down to see the creek and get some wiggles out! Flannery wore her newly acquired coveralls so as not to get too muddy! Amos enjoyed jumping in the puddles and at the end, got very muddy!
We got to see Uncle Jesse, which is always fun!
It was a great trip and we were sad to say goodbye!

At some point this month, I was at Once Upon A Child and spied a pretty new looking bike for a certain little guy. It was perfect--it already had training wheels attached. Upon giving it to Amos, we took a spin around the neighborhood. Needless to say, he loved it!
Also this month, we took a trip to the Dentist. It was Amos' first time and my first time in a long time. Our friend, Chris, is a dentist, so we made the drive and had a great visit with him.
Nathan went first and Amos got to "help" so that when it was his turn, he wasn't afraid at all!
No cavities!This month, the weather has turned warm and I'm afraid, it's here to stay. The heat does bring one good thing: water play! Amos was so excited to get his Clifford water sprinkler out and had so much fun running and jumping in the water.
Flannery got to play in the sand, since she didn't really like the cold hose water!
Yay for the month of May!
And now onto June, which already has lots of adventures planned!
