Since returning home on Saturday, we've had good family time. It's almost as if the kids have really wanted to be with us, to make up for lost time. (While we were gone, they got to hang with our good friends, Jeremy and Christa, who are in our small group from church and who our children know really well!). Saturday night, they were both up alot after they were put to bed and then since then, they've both been a bit clingy, wanting extra cuddles and attention. They've even gotten up in the middle of the night for us. Of course, we've been happy to oblige, but have also been wanting to catch up on lost sleep! :)
Today, I got out the little walker toy for Flannery to use while she practiced walking. She is on the verge of taking off and since it's been so nice out, I'm anxious for her to start walking so we can have more fun, playing together outside. I hope this helps, although, Amos had a blast with it too, once he got home from school!
It was strange to her at first but she got the hang of it in no time! We went back and forth our entry way and she seemed to really enjoy it!
She's our big girl, growing up each day!
