SANTA!

Last week I took the kiddos to the Children's Museum to see Santa and to play in the winter-themed exhibit. Amos loved meeting Santa, since he's into dressing up and characters and such. We're not really doing Santa as he's usually done, but we're also not telling Amos that he's not real, just so he doesn't spoil it for other kids!
At any rate, he was excited and like other times where we've waited to meet a character, Amos was yelling to Santa and waving at him while we were in line. It was super cute.
When we finally got up there, Flannery immediately burst into tears. Amos tried to hold her hand to make her feel better but it didn't work! And when Santa asked Amos what he wanted, Amos got shy and felt put on the spot so he had a hard time answering that he wanted a medium sized excavator and some construction trucks.

All in all, it was fun and Amos enjoyed the rest of the exhibit. On the way out, Amos found a Buzz Lightyear cutout and wanted his picture with it. It was an ad for Toy Story on Ice which is something I never thought about doing until that day!

We had a fun morning together. I love taking them to the museum!

I love photos of babies crying on Santa's lap - they seem so *real*! :)

Amos is adorable.

Merry Christmas!
