It's not that they didn't nap, it's that they weren't napping at the same time or for a sufficient length of time. Flannery slept in the car for 5 minutes. When we got home, I felt sure that she would go back to bed. I got Amos to bed and he fell right asleep. Then I worked on Flannery. Half an hour later, she is still awake. So I put her in bed since I had stuff to put away downstairs.
I returned a few minutes later and after another 20 minutes, got her to bed, asleep.
Literally, five minutes later, she was awake again. ARGH!! So I left her in her bed and that worked for a little while.
I finally brought her into our bed and set up a barrier so she could roll around and play without rolling off. Shortly after that, Amos woke up.
We are now watching Wall-E, with kiddos rolling around, almost wrestling with each other and me, trying to rest/do computer work. It's only slightly working. But the kids are playing well together, and it's fun to see them interact well.
Only once has Amos asked for Baby Sister to go back into my tummy!
