I'll start off by saying this post has no new pics...sorry everyone! The camera is downstairs and I haven't taken many new pictures lately...I've been trying to sleep!
My recovery is going slowly, much more so than I thought it would. It's been hard for me to be so dependent, but Nathan is doing an *amazing* job at caring for us all and even working a bit.
Flannery is doing well, although, she has reflux, so we're giving her medicine for that and are trying to help her keep her feeds down. We've been mostly successful...some feeds are better than others. And at her checkup on Tuesday, she weighed in at 7lbs, 8 oz...she's already growing fast! By now, she seems to have gained even more weight, so I'm excited with this trend. Hopefully, she won't have trouble putting on the pounds!
Amos is doing ok, again, depending on the day. The more time that either Nathan or I can spend with him, the better he does. He has been doing some things that are out of character, lately, so that's been a bit hard. But overall, he still loves his Baby Sister and is very sweet with her.
Overall, I'm thankful that we're all doing so well; that I'm recovering from a natural birth and not a c-section, that Flannery's biggest health concern right now is reflux, that Amos loves his sister and that Nathan's job is so flexible. Those are the positive things I'm trying to focus on when everything seems so overwhelming. God is good and is giving us what we need to get through each day, just like he did to get through every contraction!

i'm so glad that reflux and sleep deprivation are your only worries. God is so good! give little flanny a kiss for me.
oh, and i agree that a natural birth in a hospital is the hardest...talk about resisting temptation!! you did awesome!
Oh, I feel for you, Sarah. The first month was so hard, and this time we already have a kid at home! I cannot wait to see how it all goes. I pray for you whenever we're up at night. That's not too often these days, so I guess I need to pray more!
