Amos and Dada made up a new car game last night.
Today was a great day.
Amos and slept in super late and got up closer to lunch time! We both enjoyed our much-needed sleep and had a good day from being so well rested.
After our brunch, we went out to the new Target and the grocery store for errands. Then we headed back home for lunch and a rest. Nathan came home early and surprised us. He took the rest of the afternoon off to go to the pool with us.
Even though it's been pretty cool out, today, we decided to go, as Amos and I will be going to Michigan tomorrow morning and Sunday is the last day the pool is open before school starts on Monday. So I wanted to go play for one last time. Poor Amos got cold really fast and we had to have two different sitting and warming sessions.
We finally headed home around 5:15, saying goodbye to our pretty pool and sent Nathan off to give a talk about worship.
Amos will hopefully go to bed early so I can pack. I think we'll watch some of the Olympics, too.
Limited blogging will probably happen over the weekend, as we are going to stay with my grandmother. I am excited to see our family there and we'll get to see my parents, too!

That splash pool looks AWESOME!
I took Stella to a wading pool nearby on a warm day last week and was a bit embarrassed that I was the only parent in a bathing suit. I wanted to cool off too! :)
