Being "home"

We are so enjoying being here.
Nathan let me sleep in this morning (which was much-needed), and when they came in for a diaper change, Nathan reported, "It's the perfect camping-weather morning!" which is weather we've really missed and are glad to be reunited with. All of our crazy sleeping and scheduling yesterday really helped to cement the new time zone that we're in so Amos has pretty much gotten used to being here, which is great. So that was a major concern that I had and am thankful that he's doing so well!
Amos has had a blast playing with the kids, the dog, the dirt in the yard and other various games. We are enjoying being with the Jensens and realized that almost 9 years ago, Nathan moved here and stayed with the Jensens when Vicki was 7 months pregnant with Sarah. Sarah is now almost 9 and is a joy! She also happens to be my namesake and occasional art buddy!
This afternoon, after Amos wakes up, we plan to hang out with Aunts and cousins while Dada works on music with his favorite music partner, Rick! Tonight is dinner with more friends and their kids. We are going to drink it in!!
