We had a tough night. Amos slept in his bed for an hour, then went in with us. And he was tired and mad. He didn't want to be held, but kept coughing so he couldn't sleep. Holding him upright helped him sleep, but we had to get past the fits first! I finally put him back in his bed, on a pillow and he slept for a little while. Then he was back in bed with us and finally went back to sleep. Throw in a few breathing treatments and doses of cold toddler cold medicine, and we made it through the night. We slept in a bit this morning, but Amos was up and ready for breakfast, before long. The morning went ok and Amos had a slight fever. We had breakfast and a snack and by noon, Amos was ready for a nap. By then, his cough had gotten a bit better, probably because his nose started running more, not sending the stuff down his throat. He took a nap for an hour and a half in his bed. I went to bed around 12:45 for a nap so when Amos woke up around 1;30, I was not ready to get up. We napped some more, together, and didn't get up til 4. It was great!
Nathan opted out of a church meeting tonight and we compared symptoms, as we both think we're catching Amos' cold! But this cold seems to be a bit light weight and we're all hoping that we all get well by Saturday so that we won't infect Aunts Bethany and Jessica and Uncles Dan and Brendan who are all coming to visit. Woo hoo!!
