Rainy Tuesday, again.

I know, I know...almost time for more pictures and video. Those are to come soon.
For now, a bit about our day yesterday. Amos had a great day, and I think he's done being sick. His runny nose has subsided, he's not had a fever since Saturday and his appetite is most definitely back. He's happy and is sleeping well, so we had an enjoyable day yesterday.
I feel like I had a personal triumph, too, by not running out to do something spontaneous at the moment and bring Amos along for the ride. Instead, I realized that it was lunch and nap time and that to try to get Amos sleeping better in his bed, we should stay home. About ten minutes after deciding that, Amos was ready for a nap, skipped lunch and went straight to bed. He slept for an hour and fifteen minutes, too! In his own bed!!! The rest of the day was great, with Amos being easy going, playing independently and not whining. When Nathan came home, we had an easy dinner and then I trekked to Joann's for some goodies. Nathan had an easy time bathing Amos and putting him to bed and even went back up when he woke up. He wanted me, but went to bed for Nathan. We didn't see him until 2 this morning. I felt like we had a good day and good night, giving me hope that we can get some sort of regularity going, and that Amos can move toward being more independent.
Today has been good, as well. The contractors came back to do some finishing touches, and we had a good time playing and hanging out. I am dragging again today from being woken up at 4:30 by a loud and horrible storm. Tonight is supposed to be worse, so we'll see how it goes. I am not looking forward to it!

Hi Sarah! Thanks for your comment on our blog a while back -- we are keeping up to date on you and Amos in Indy as well, and we sure wish all the Meeks sisters were back in Seattle because Liam needs some more guy friends! - Kathryn Adeney
