...finished.
Our attic project was completed on Thursday. Sure, there are a few minor things that we need to note for them to come back and touch up, but mostly, they are done, and more importantly, they are not here at 7 am, making lots of noise and dust! They are super nice guys, but I am glad to have our house back. So this week will be a week of cleaning up and more unpacking. We set up the bed today in the guest room and it fits well and looks great. Pictures to come soon.
My sister Abby and her friend, Sara, came up to visit on their long weekend and we've had lots of fun. They arrived Friday night, and Saturday was spent hanging out, avoiding the freeeeezing cold weather. Last night, we decided to venture out to the mall downtown and were surrounded by cheerleaders and dance team members in skimpy clothes, in town for a competition. After we had our fill, we came home for some movie watching and speed-scrabble playing.
This morning we made it to church, mostly on time and enjoyed worship. After church we had lunch and a laid back afternoon. Tonight, with cabing fever again, we headed north to try to find a good sushi restaurant. We arrived to find one closed and decided on Mexican. Amos had just woken up and was in a great mood. He was so good while we ate and had fun looking at all the lights and people around us.
Tonight on his way up to bed, he blew kisses with both hands and even puckered and smacked his lips. That's the first time he's kissed and that he's blown a kiss. It was so cute!
He has loved having his aunt here and has had fun with Sara, too.
