Summer wrap-up!

Since we are well into October and a beautiful autumn season, I wanted to remember the last half of summer and all of our adventures.

St. Louis--Mid-July

Even though the Robbins are now in the Pacific Northwest, we headed to St. Louis where the daughter of our Seattle pastor was getting married. They had asked Nathan to do the music for their ceremony, so even though it was on Amos' birthday, we really wanted to be part of the ceremony.

So in order to make the day extra special, we visited the City Museum on the morning of his birthday. This place is an interactive "museum" that has lots of "exhibits" that you can crawl up and slide down.
And since Levi had started walking a few days before this trip, he loved walking around everywhere.

Needless to say, we had a great day and Amos really enjoyed his special day.

And, the wedding was beautiful! Nathan was happy to be reunited with our musician friends from Seattle and it was great to hear them play together again!

Back to TN--early August

We celebrated GrrMe and GrrDada Joe's birthdays and had more fun in the country. This was a shorter whirlwind of a trip but we were happy to be back!

Indiana State Fair

As soon as we got home, the State Fair was in full swing and this year, I took the kids on $2 Tuesday and again, lots of fun was had!

Horseback Riding--Mid August

There's a state park nearby that has horses and ponies that you can ride for a very small fee. At one point, Amos even led the horse that Flannery was riding, feeling very grown up!

It was a great summer, with so many fun adventures!
