The Wedding of Wesley and Abigail, part 2

On the afternoon of Saturday, June 29th, all of the girls congregated at my parents' house to get ready with Abby. Her friend and bridesmaid, Kayla, did her makeup in the midst of the flurry of activity that was happening in Mom and Dad's bedroom suite.

We posed for pics outside and then went up to the barn for family and wedding party pictures. It was soon time for the ceremony to begin and we all took our places.

Brother-in-law Dan Robbins started the ceremony and preached a beautiful homily. Soon Wes and Abby said their vows and they were married! The reception was held in the tent nearby with tasty food, good friends and a really good bluegrass band to set the mood!

The day and night were really beautiful, too. The weather was unseasonably cool-er and not as humid. The day ended with us sending Wes and Abby off into the night with handfuls of lavender. It was a beautiful day and we are so happy that they are married!
