Levi is slowwwwwly learning how to walk, Amos is slowwwwly finishing school and learning to read and Flannery is keeping up with all of us. We have been spending the mornings outside, doing chalk drawings, riding bikes and other various fun things. Our local pool opened a few weeks ago and when it's hot enough, we spend the afternoons and/or evenings there. The kids LOVE to swim and this year, are taking lessons again, even Levi! It is pretty tiring getting them all ready to go to and from the pool, but it's so much fun and we usually see lots of friends there!
We closed on a house in the middle of May. We decided to buy a duplex and live on one side while renting out the other. The side we have chosen to live on needs some work, as does the interior of the house, so we are waiting for that work to be done before we move in. We are still living on the spacious third floor of the Berends' house and continue to really enjoy it and be thankful for a place to be in this lonnnnnng transition!
And as I type this, we are in Nashville to prepare for Abby's wedding, which is happening at the end of this week. Bethany has already posted a TN post on her blog (www.stillinstlouis.blogspot.com) and we are savoring our time with them before they move up to Bellingham, WA. So far the weather has been beautiful here so we've enjoyed being outside a lot. The only downside is that the kids have acquired a ton of bug bites! :(
