Happy Thanksgiving!

This year, we splurged and got a free range turkey from a local market. And since it was so nice, Nathan decided he wanted to brine it. He and Amos spent Wednesday morning cooking up the brine. I was gone, so thankfully Nathan took pictures of that part!

The next morning, Nathan put the turkey in and then came upstairs to watch the parade with Amos and I. Amos' favorite part was seeing Spider Man and Buzz Lightyear! The turkey was soon done, but cooked in such a short time that we were suspicious.

Sure enough, when we cut into it over at our friends' house, it wasn't quite done, so we stuck it in for a bit longer. Nathan also made an amazing gravy and soon, my plate was complete. This turkey dinner was so delicious!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving with friends and are thankful for the community God has us in right now!
