After we picked up Amos from school, we headed home and packed the car. We departed for St Louis right at nap time and made it there by dinner time. Our good friends, the Riberas were also in town, visiting Beth and Dan. Beth made yummy Tom Kah Kai soup and spring rolls for dinner and for dessert, we had my favorite: carrot cake, made by our good friend, Jeremy.

And on Friday night, the fun continued. Beth and Jessica took me out to a Chocolate cafe where they serve yummy chocolate martinis and other fun food and drinks. I did order a chocolate martini that was made with dark chocolate. It wasn't as sweet as you would think and it was so tasty. We also ordered a cheese plate with three different cheeses (can't remember which ones) and that was awesome too!!

I had a great birthday and was so glad to be able to celebrate with my family and friends!
