Miss Flannery outdid herself tonight by being such a big girl!
Her first feat was eating cereal and avacado for dinner. Over the past few days, she has not been eating as well. She fusses and seems to get impatient. And last night, she was up a few times to eat and each time, she acted like she was starving! So I decided we would get back into the cereal routine, in hopes of helping her appetite a bit.
We did cereal this morning and it was as it has been, slow going and not much seeming to get in! But I figured that practice makes perfect and decided to try again tonight at dinner.
She did so well! I made it a bit thicker and I made more than usual, to see how much I could get into her. She ate and ate and ate and kept wanting to eat! When the first helping was almost done, I asked Nathan to mush some avacado to try for seconds. I mixed some of it with the cereal and she ate all of that!! It was awesome and alot of fun! I felt so encouraged and am excited to see how the night goes!

After dinner, it was bath time. Tonight, since it was just Flannery in the tub, I decided to put her on the sitting up side of her mini-tub, to see if she could deal. And she did, of course! It was so cute, she looked like she was lounging around, just hanging out!

And after her bath, she was lying on the floor, rolling around from back to tummy and tummy to back. She was trying to reach her bink and again, it was fun just to watch her.

Amos was a big boy in his own right today, going to the library and picking out books to bring home for the summer reading program. We brought them home and got to read together while Baby Sister napped. He helped me write a blog post on his new blog and was a great helper during Flannery's bath. For dinner I made him Toy Story macaroni and cheese and he devoured it! So maybe we have a calorie winner on our hands!!
And because he's so cute, here's a picture of him and his shirt hat!
