We made it!

Amos, Flannery and I are here in the beautiful South, relaxing in the country. Flannery's cough was all but gone on Wednesday so I decided to go ahead and make the drive. It took us awhile: seven and a half hours to do a five hour trip. But it was good. Flannery had trouble staying asleep so she cried alot but Amos did an amazing job of riding quietly. The weather was perfect and the traffic was light. I had been quite anxious about doing the drive by myself and so when we made it to our road, I was almost in tears of thanksgiving that we had arrived safely.

We are here this time for Aunt Abby's graduation from college on Sunday. Nathan will join us Sunday night and we'll have the next week to rest and relax together. I already feel relaxed. Amos is having a blast with playing outside, with the dogs and other various things.
Tonight, Aunt Bethany and Elijah arrive from St Louis and tomorrow, my grandma and Aunt Pati arrive for the weekend. Abby also comes home tomorrow and we are looking forward to celebrating her achievement!
