On Friday morning we said farewell to Miharu as it was time for her to return to Japan. Since she had been here since last October, it was sad to say goodbye. We had a dinner for her the night before. I made one of her favorites, pizza, and tried my hand at Vegetable and Shrimp Tempura and Deep Fried Tofu. The dinner was yummy (even though the tofu was overdone!) and we enjoyed being together for one last time. Himanshu came over for dinner and Amos was stoked to have his buddies all in one place!
We'll miss Miharu very much. She was a wonderful housemate, very caring and helpful and fun to have around. She withstood Amos' antics very well and would sit and play beautiful songs on the piano for us to enjoy while we went about our business. We wish her well in Japan and know that she has a bright future ahead of her!
