The copper anniversary

My sweet husband commissioned a copper sculpture for me for our anniversary. Our friend Todd made it and it's supposed to be a dancing lady. Of course, I love it. I love its flow and I love the rawness of its beauty.
I got Nathan a fancy new coffee grinder which now keeps our new coffee maker company. I love our new coffee maker--waking up to coffee that is already made is awesome!! More than that, it was great to celebrate another year together. I am truly loved and blessed by my Nathan.

Happy anniversary!!

I celebrated your anniversary today by watching Homemade Hillbilly Jam, a documentary about hillbilly gospel music. Really inspiring, joyful stuff. Thought of you. Not that I think of you as hillbillies or anything.

Oh, I *also* celebrated by opening the mail. The Animal greeting card is going to sit on my desk at work beside my computer monitor starting tomorrow. AAAAAARRRRRGH! Thanks for the card.

I hope you enjoy the book!

And here's to the next several years!
