Home again, home again

Well, other home at least.
Today after lunch, we packed up, took family photos and said farewell to our newest little one and the rest of the fam.
We arrived, five hours later (of a good trip), to a quiet and warm house. When checking the weather to see if we needed air conditioning, I spied Seattle's weather: 59 degrees and rainy!! I got really jealous. Oh well, the heat had to come sometime!
Tonight Nathan discovered that our basement flooded this past week. Nothing was damaged, we'll just have to make sure that only tupperware boxes are on the floor. Other than that, the house was fine, quiet and lonely without us!
We miss our family, their comfort, and fellowship and most of all, love and care. We praised God the whole way home that we were able to be with them, waiting for Elijah to come, watching Beth go into labor, being there upon his entrance, and celebrating his health and Beth's success. It was wonderful to be with Elijah for a little bit, and to catch up on sleep together. It was such a sweet time, such an amazing gift, such a blessing to share that time with Beth and Dan.
God answered our prayers and we've returned to Indy, determined to deepen our friendships here, inspired by the ones we've left behind.

I know there is a bit of sadness in returning, but know that we are really glad to have you back. What beautiful memories from last week! It was so fun to check in a share that with you all. I have witnessed many labors, but never on on the internet! So cool. Hope to hang soon friends!
